School Spirit: Please remember that every Friday at Richland is red & blue day. If your child has a Richland shirt or anything red and blue, please help him/her remember to wear it to school on Fridays to show school spirit!
Folders: Please remember to empty folders nightly & return them to school each day with completed homework from the previous day. Folders are also checked each morning for important notes, lunch money, etc.
Agendas: Please check your child's agenda. It will have homework/important information listed.
Snack: If you’d like to send in a drink with your child’s snack, we ask that you only send in water (to avoid sticky spills) labeled with your child’s name. This is not mandatory, as we do have a water fountain in the classroom. Also, since we dismiss early on Fridays, we do not have snack on Friday afternoons. We do have snack M-Th.

Friday, 1/16: Vocab Test, Spelling Test, and Reading Test

During the spelling tests, students will independently write each word that is read aloud and used in a sentence.
By the end of the lesson, student should be able to orally read each high-frequency word and each vocabulary word. Student does not have to orally recite the definitions of vocabulary words but should be familiar with the meanings.
