Learning Partners Program

The first year of the Learning Partners Program involved four campus schools. Each of the Quad schools in the year one Learning Partners Program are located inside the Lehman High School Campus. Renaissance High School served as the host school, with Bronx River High School, Pelham Lab High School, and Westchester Square Academy as the partner schools. Within the campus Renaissance HS currently has students from grade 9-12 and is operating in its twelfth year. Westchester Square Academy HS has students in grades 9-12 and is operating in its fourth year. Bronx River HS and Pelham Lab HS have students in grades 9-11 and are in their third year.

The Learning Partners Program on the Lehman High School Campus expanded the collaborative effort that began during the 2015-2016 school year. Renaissance High School continued to act as the host school with Schuylerville Preparatory High School and Lehman High School coming on as partners schools. To that end the campus schools sought to increase partnership opportunities across the campus while identifying and deepening strong practices that can be replicated/modified to support each school's needs. Teachers and administrators at participating schools had the opportunity to take part in one of six Professional Learning Community cycles.

Currently, the Learning Partners Program persists on campus with the continuation of two Professional Learning Communities. Participants in the program are able to continue campus wide collaboration, building upon best practices that have been previously established; including the examination of current educational research, school/classroom intervisitations, and specific instructional support in various areas.
