Topic A: Canada’s Dynamic Communities - In this unit, the students will expand upon the concept of community through an examination of specific characteristics of three communities in Canada: the urban prairie community of Saskatoon in Saskatchewan, the rural maritime community of Meteghan in Nova Scotia, and the urban arctic community of Iqaluit in Nunavut.
