Sign up for Spring Sports
You must log on to Power Medical (link below) and sign up for the Spring Sports Season before you are eligible to participate. Make sure you do this sooner rather than later in case you need a new physical exam.
Are you NEW to CREW?
If you are new to the Suffern Crew Program please frequent our webpage for updates. We also distribute information via the Remind App, contact the coaches for the join code. Suffern Crew is a Varsity HS program, we do not offer this program to students in the middle school due to the large interest of HS students. We have a novice team for Freshmen and 1st year rowers who don't make the Varsity. There is also a middle school rowing club program that is available through the Ramapo PAL. For new high school students, winter workouts will begin after winter break in January. This is a good way to learn the mechanic of rowing so you are ready to try out for the team in March. The season begins Monday, March 13th when all of the other spring sports begin. You must sign up for Spring Sports on PowerMedical prior to the beginning of the season. The Portal is currently open so don't delay, get your Medical clearance NOW. There will be a Pre-Season Camp week from March 6-9th, see below for details. We will be happy to answer any questions directly via email, please feel free to contact us using the contact form in the menu.

The Crew Team is proud to announce that the Boys Varsity 4+ Boat of Jake Hoffman, Jordan Irving, Danny Kaufman, Matt Dain, and coxswain Sarah Dobkin finished 6th at the Scholastic Rowing Association of America Nationals on the Cooper River in Camden, NJ. They are the first Suffern boat to advance beyond the first round of heats. They finished 3rd in their first heat, which earned them a spot in the repechage (wild card). The boat finished 1st in their repechage, which advanced the boat to the semifinals round. In their semifinal heat, the boat finished second to The Nichols School of Buffalo by .56 sec, earning them a spot in the finals. In the finals the boat rowed well but finished last, earning them 6th place overall in the competition. Congratulations to the boat for their school record-breaking achievement. (check out their picture on the Photos page)
Practice Schedule (in-season notice)
We will do our best to post practice information a week in advance. There will be days we go to the Lake via school bus, and on certain days there will NOT be a bus available so we will either work out at SHS or Team members will have to provide their own transportation to the lake. Days a bus is provided we generally will return to SHS in time for the 5:45 Late bus. On Days we practice at SHS, we will be finished by 4:15, in time for the 4:30 late bus home. Any questions regarding practice should be made via email to cjacoby@sufferncentral.org (please do not message the coaches on Remind as we do not always see these messages)
