The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation's premier organization which recognizes outstanding high school students. In 1921, National Honor Society was founded to recognize and develop achievement in scholarship, leadership, character, and service.
The Skene Mountain chapter of National Honor Society follows the guidelines and constitution of the national chartering organization. Students are invited to join based on criteria established by the national organization and defined in a local context.
Members must:
Maintain an 90%GPA
Maintain leadership and community service
Continue to demonstrate good character
