The classroom will provide a language rich environment to facilitate age appropriate Speech and Language Development.

Letter recognition - matching letters/names/sounds

Responding to questions about a story

Vocabulary Concepts

-Number Concepts:

Number recognition - matching/counting/grouping, colors, shapes

-Additional Readiness Skills:

Printing name and Scissor Skills

Social Skills

Sharing, Turn Taking, Making and Keeping Friends, Following rules for conversations and storytelling, Using language for different purposes such as greeting (e.g., hello, goodbye).
