I've been teaching at Pleasant Valley School District for the past 14 years. Prior to that I worked in Santa Ana Unified for 5 years, and Corona-Norco Unified for 5 years. I have a Multiple Subject, an Early Childhood Special Education, and a Language/Academic Development Credential, and a Masters in Special Education. I love working with children, but don't love the paperwork :)
I have three grown children (two girls and a boy) and three grandchildren (2 girls and a boy). My husband just retired as one of the pilots in Port Hueneme who brought the fruit and car ships into port.
I love to travel, spend time with family, and do new things. I've been to Ireland, Paris, London, Holland, Italy, Honduras, Canada, Costa Rica, Jamaica, the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, and Grand Cayman. I've tandem parachuted, flown in a glider, hot air ballooned, zip lined, white water rafted, surfed, taken stunt driving courses, and raced in a Lamborghini and a Ferrari.
I am lucky to have a job that I love. I feel that this is what I was put on this earth to do :) I look forward to working with your child.
