2022-'23 Band Performances and Events

6th Grade Field Trip:  Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2022.  We are traveling to Pinnacle H.S. football stadium to watch the High School Marching Band Exhibition featuring all 5 of our District High Schools.  Buses will pick up Elementary 6th graders at 9:10 am (approximately) and return to school 1:00 pm (approximately).  All students need to bring a packed lunch, water bottle and sunscreen since we will be outside on the bleachers!  Do NOT bring cell phones or backpacks.  Permission slips due one week BEFORE performance.

BAND WINTER CONCERT: Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2022 at 6:30 pm. The location is : Hidden Hills Elementary featuring those Band students AND Band students from Echo Mountain Intermediate

BAND WINTER CONCERT: Thursday, Dec. 8, 2022 at 7:00 pm.  The location is:  Whispering Wind Academy featuring those Band students AND Band students from Desert Springs Preparatory 

5th and 6th grade Band members meet in the Band room:  6:40 pm (for the Dec. 8 concert), 6:10 pm (for the Dec. 6 concert) and wear white top/black bottom (jeans or long pants are fine)

4th grade Band members arrive and sit with parents to enjoy the performance.

Upcoming musical events:

Saturday, February 11 at 1:00 - 2:30 pm District Honor Band Performance at Shadow Mountain H. S.  FREE concert and all are highly encouraged to attend this amazing concert!

Saturday, March 4  -  PV District Arts Festival at Shadow Mountain H.S.  6th grade Band members and selected 5th graders will form a combined Band and perform.  Time: 10:00 am  Students need to wear a Solid white, yellow, or blue  t-shirt or polo-type shirt!  Meet Ms Grimes in the CHOIR ROOM -  Activity Center at 9:45 am. (this is building #400)

Band Spring Concert  - Monday, May 8 at 7:00 pm.  This performance will be at Desert Springs Preparatory and will include the Band from Whispering Wind Academy

Wednesday, May 10 at 6:30 pm.  This performance will be at Echo Mountain Intermediate and will include the Band from Hidden Hills Elementary.

All performers are to meet in the Band room 20 minutes before the start time on the eve of the concert! White tops/black pants should be worn.
