Students will be reviewing many concepts regarding the Elizabethan Era, Characteristics of Shakespeare's writing, and the literary elements related to this specific literary study. The three main literary elements being studied for this unit are Hyperboles, Puns, and Foreshadowing, as Shakespeare is a master of each. Students will also focus on a mutlitude of characters along with how each feels about and sees Julius Caesar. This study focus will abridge the decision making processes within the text with decisions they are making in their daily lives in reference to relationships, politics, and social expectation.
