About Me

I am a native Arizonan and love the valley of the sun. I have been teaching for over fifteen years from grades Pre-Kindergarten to high school; although, middle school is my favorite grade. I grew up going to school in the Paradise Valley School District and love the area. I graduated from ASU and did my student teaching at Sunrise MS. My first teaching job was at Greenway Middle. I moved north and taught in the Cave Creek Unified School District until my two children were born, and then I stayed at home and became a part-time substitute teacher. I am excited to be teaching in PV for my tenth year after teaching 7th/8th grade in CCUSD for three years. In my spare time, I like to play with our dog (Daisy), read, scrapbook, play Pickleball and go to movies (especially horror movies). I also like to travel with my family (we like camping, and going to San Diego as well as amusement parks).
