Course Description: Topics in algebra include functions, domains, ranges, graphs, data scatter plots and curve fitting, solving equations and inequalities and systems of equations. Types of functions studied will include polynomials, rational, radical, exponential, and logarithmic and conics. Limits, derivatives, and area under the curve will be introduced. Topics in trigonometry include functions of acute angles, analytic trigonometry, fundamental trigonometric functions and identities, and parametric equations. Graphing calculators will be used, and applications will be emphasized.

Course Description: Geometry is one of the classical disciplines of math. The most basic form of Geometry is Euclidean Geometry. Items covered in this course include, but are not limited to: lengths, areas, volumes, properties of circles, volumes of three-dimensional objects, coordinate geometry and basic trigonometry. We will also look at applications of reasoning and proof.
