What was the problem with Taylor Swift and Apple?

Taylor Swift released her new album ‘ 1989 ‘ which was also launched on Apple Music, an american music streaming company. Apple Music set up a three month free trial period for all users where they weren't going to pay artists. Taylor Swift disagreed and wrote a detailed Tumblr post to share her thoughts on the matter. "I find it to be shocking, disappointing and completely unlike this historically progressive and generous company." Apple responded a couple of days later saying that there will be a change in their policy. Now all artists will be paid in the 3 month free trial period.
