Check authenticity; Thinking skills- critical and analytical. Also awareness of different sources and media-video, blog etc.
Ask smart questions; don’t take information at face value.
Use a variety of websites(sources); there is more then one point of view.
The learner is trustworthy, responsible, sensible, accountable, intentional to help their learning (focused and relevant)

What should be done when an innocent search turns up something nasty?
What does responsible learner look like? e.g. video scenarios, what happens if one receives an inappropriate email from a peer.
