I have worked in the Brookline Early Education Program (BEEP) for several years, and came to Pierce during the 2017-2018 school year, where I worked in a first-grade classroom and in the learning center to get an additional license in special education. Prior to my time at Pierce, I taught kindergarten in Easton, MA and Wellesley, MA, and I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in The Gambia for two years. During my Peace Corps service, my primary projects were developing literacy instructional practices in a rural primary school.
I received a B.A. in Elementary Education and Environmental Studies from Saint Michael’s College in Vermont, and a M.S. in Elementary and Special Education from Boston University.
In my free time I like to run, go on walks or hikes, travel, and spend time with my friends and family.
