Pre-K Screening

The Pleasant Plains preschool program will be conducting developmental screenings for any preschool-aged child on

Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at Farmingdale Elementary School. Developmental areas to be checked include speech,

language, movement skills, and basic concepts. There will also be a hearing and vision screening done.

Anyone who has a child who has a preschool aged child (3 by September 1 to 4 years old, won’t turn 5 prior to

September 1) and lives in the Pleasant Plains school district, is encouraged to attend. Children must be screened in

order to be considered for the 2026-2027 school year. If your child has already been screened by our district you

are not required to screen again. However, if new concerns have developed since your child’s last screening, we encourage you to attend.
