Pre-K Screening

The Pleasant Plains preschool program will be conducting developmental screenings for any preschool-aged child on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Farmingdale Elementary School. 

Developmental areas to be checked include speech, language, movement skills, and basic concepts. There will also be a hearing and vision screening done. 

Anyone who has a child who has a preschool aged child and lives in the Pleasant Plains school district, is encouraged to attend.  Children must be screened in order to be considered for the 2024-2025 school year. There will be another screening held in August for children turning 3 over the summer. If your child has already been screened by our district you are not required to screen again, however if new concerns have developed since your child’s last screening we encourage you to attend.
