Registration packets are now being accepted for incoming Kindergarten & Transfer students in the Pleasant Plains School District. 

Children who will be five years old on or before September 1, 2024 are eligible to register. 

Kindergarten screening on Friday, May 31 & Monday, June 3. All parents must schedule an appointment in advance. Please call the Unit Office to schedule at 217-626-1041

New to the district/ first student in district: Parents need to prove residency at the Pleasant Plains Unit Office before registrations will be accepted. 

• Proof of residency documents include one of the following:  most recent property tax bill with proof of payment, mortgage papers, signed and dated lease with proof of last month’s payment, letter from property manager with proof of last month’s payment, letter of residence from landlord in lieu of lease.  Proof of residency must include two of the following showing proper address:  driver’s license, vehicle registration, voter registration, current public aid card, current homeowners/renters insurance policy and premium payment receipt, most recent gas, electric, and/or water bill, current library card, receipt for moving van rental, mail received at new residence.

All students: 

• Please bring a copy of your child’s certified birth certificate.  A hospital certificate is not considered to be a certified copy.  

Registration fees will be paid via online registration in the summer.
