PhD offer

Post date: Jul 17, 2015 8:14:41 AM

In connection with (but not exactly funded by) the ARSENIC project, Gaël Raoul, Nicolas Loeuille and I are looking for a student to begin a PhD in October 2015 (three-year funding through the MMB-Veolia programme).

The student would be based in Paris, in the iEES lab at the University Pierre et Marie Curie, in the group of Nicolas Loeuille.

We are looking for a student with a master in ecology/evolution, maths or physics with a strong theoretical background and interested by theoretical ecology questions. Ideally, we’d like either an ecology MSc that has done an internship working on a modeling project or a maths/physics MSc who has already worked on evolutionary ecology problems. Fluency in either English or French would be a good asset too.

Details on the offer can be found on the ARSENIC webpage: https://sites.google.com/a/polytechnique.org/anr-arsenic/news/anotherphdoffer
