Meet Dr. C.

Dr. Amy Cordova has been teaching in the Platte County R-III School district since 1997. Dr. Cordova graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Education from Missouri Western State College in 1997. She has her teaching certification in gifted education, elementary education and early childhood education. She earned her Master of Arts in Education from Baker University in 2004. In December 2017, Dr. Cordova graduated with her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership with an additional certification for building level leadership from Baker University. Dr. Cordova is completed her gifted certification through Truman University. Dr. Cordova loves to use technology to enhance her teaching. She believes strongly in continuous improvement and expects her students to have a growth mindset.
