TODAY, 11/17/17 1.  "Flannel Friday" Spirit Day (Wear flannel [plaid] to earn spirit points for 6th-grade.  The spirit points will go toward the Spirit Rally at the end of the school year in May 2018.)
TOMORROW, 11/18/17 1.  "Basket Brigade" (Walmart in Bristol; 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.; Student Council collection for the Plainville Community Food Pantry -- any donations are welcomed and appreciated, but the Pantry is currently looking for:  gently used and/or new coats and boots; new socks; new underwear; paper supplies; and cleaning supplies.  Since this drive is so close to Thanksgiving, we are encouraging a donation of Thanksgiving NON-PERISHABLE goodies such as canned goods, pies, rolls, potatoes, etc... as well.  We will assemble the latter items in baskets, hence the name, "Basket Brigade."  If you have any unused baskets you would like to donate, please send them in with your child or drop them off in the Main Office by Friday, 11/17/17.  If you can't make it to the drive, you can send any donations to school with your child by Tuesday, 11/21/17.  Monetary donations can be sent in as well for the Plainville Community Food Pantry if you prefer by Tuesday, 11/21/17.)

TUESDAY, 11/21/17 1.  Parent-teacher conference sign-ups close (Confirmation of conference day/time to follow shortly thereafter.).  Please click HERE to access the Google form to sign up.  Attached below you will find the letter explaining the format of our conferences.
WEDNESDAY, 11/22/17 1,  1/2 day (12:45 p.m. dismissal with NO lunch served due to Thanksgiving Break) 
2.  "Color for a Cure" Spirit Day (MSP will be an array of color on this day.  6th-grade will dress in ORANGE for Leukemia Awareness; 7th-grade will dress in YELLOW for Childhood Cancer Awareness; 8th-grade will dress in PINK for Breast Cancer Awareness.  Students are asked to make a donation of, at least, $1.  These funds will be added to the donations collected from Costumes for Charity as well as the "Fall-O-Ween" Dance.  The donations will be sent off to the Hematology and Oncology Department at CCMC after one (1) more spirit day upcoming on 12/08/17.  More details to follow in the future about that spirit day.  Mr. Guarino gave the green light -- you can deck yourselves out, a little, on this day!)
