I found that on http://www.theregister.co.uk. This is just to show that this single mode laser which sends 1310 nm light will be really undetectable to your retina, but still very intensive. You will not see it is 1000 times brighter then direct sunlight on on the top of the mountain.
Interesting thing is that the weaker multimode lasers are sending light at 850nm wave length And as you see from above it is in visible light range. Very similar to regular laser pointer. Still not good idea to shoot it into an eye.

The 980nm this is the most dangerous wavelength. It is invisible, but still enters the eye.
