About Me

My name is Alex Rowe, and I'm excited to start my fourth year teaching at Pinnacle Classical Academy. This year I will be teaching AP US History, AP Government and Politics, American II Honors. I am a graduate of Campbell University with a B.A. in Government, and I received my teacher certification from East Carolina University. I am the son of a former high school English teacher and a Special Forces soldier, thus I have an immense appreciation for this nation, our soldiers, their families, and education. I was born and raised in North Carolina. My wife, Meredith, and I moved to Boiling Springs in the summer of 2016. She is an Assistant Professor of Biology at Gardner-Webb. I have traveled around the world and I have thoroughly enjoyed travels to England and Scotland, Italy, Boston, Valley Forge, Philadelphia, West Point, NY, Charleston, as well as battlefields from the American Revolution southern campaign in recent years. I love American History, especially the American Revolution, Civil War, the World Wars, and the Vietnam War. I'm excited to share my love of history and this country with you!
