Assessment: QUIZ for writing chemical formulas

Discussion: Chemical Nomenclature. This is essentially the reverse of chemical formula writing. Be sure to watch for poly atomic ions!! K₂SO₄ is not potassium sulfur oxide

or potassium sulfur tetraoxide. It is potassium sulfate. SO₄^2- is the sulfate ion.

Assignment: Chemical nomentclature Levels 2 and 3. QUIZ NEXT TIME over formulas and nomenclature.
