In chemistry (and all of science) temperature is the measurement of the average kinetic energy of particles in a sample. The faster the particles move, the higher the temperature. Well, the particles are flying in the air and the students are flying around school. A lot is happening in Basic Chemistry. The students have completed a lab exercise and have been working on reading and answering questions in their first unit, so that they can build their notebook. The shortened periods have made it difficult to stay on the course outline, and we are already far behind where the plan says we should be. Hopefully, next week will allow us to get back on track.

I have attached a class syllabus to the bottom of this page. If you have any questions, let me know.
