Rockmount RAC No.367 visit to St Clements RAC No.244 on Friday 31/10/25. A wonderful evening of fraternal companionship. It was a personal privilege for the Grand Superintendent MEC Kevin Pollock to present MEC Sandy Graham with his Grand Honours at Sir William Wallace RAC No.109 tonight (17/04/25). Well deserved recognition for excellent service.
An excellent evening at Sir William Wallace RAC No. 109. Two candidates received their EM Degree and I had the personal privilege of presenting MEC Alexander Graham with his Jubilee Certificate. Well deserved recognition for wonderful service. A great attendance, with many visitors and large deputation from the PGRACR.
Port Glasgow Royal Arch Chapter 900 received an anonymous donation of £100 following the recent coffee and chat day as part of the Renfrewshire Joint Provincial awareness initiative. The cheque for Prostate Scotland was handed over by MEC Danny Thomson to the Grand Superintendent of Renfrewshire MEC Kevin Pollock and MEC John Malcolm PGSN, Joint Initiative Coordinator. One Masonic Family, no boundaries.
The Grand Superintendent Kevin Pollock and a deputation from the PGRACR attended Sir William Wallace RAC 109 above on 16th May, 2024. They were warmly received by MEZ Daniel Birrell and witnessed a talk by MEC Richard Johnstone on the Wider Royal Arch Story. An excellent and informative presentation enjoyed by all companions, followed by a very pleasant harmony.
Grand Superintendent Kevin Pollock attended the PGRAC of Renfrewshire Angling Competition held on Sunday 21st April at Haddockston Trout Fishery. A fine day was had by the fishermen and a few tales told of a 6lb fish that got away! The overall winner was Scott McLaughlin (Ranfurly). Second place David Kerr (Ranfurly) and in third place William Provan ((Paisley Abbey). The participants also donated £70 towards the Prostate Initiative. Congratulations to everyone involved.
A very successful evening at Rockmount RAC No. 367, with over 50 companions in attendance. They witnessed Baron of Renfrew confer the Affiliation to Mark and Port Glasgow the Excellent Masters Degree on Companion John Dempsey. Afterwards the companions spent a pleasant hour in harmony. Congratulations
At the Installation of Kevin Pollock, Grand Superintendent as WCN/MEC of Baron of Renfrew Royal Ark Mariners on 3rd October 2023, along with the Depute Grand Superintendent MEC Billy McLarty, he had the pleasure of presenting John H McFarlane PWCN with his Jubilee Diploma. A magnificent achievement from John who continues to inspire and encourage others. Well done, John.

Donation
After the Provincial Visitation to Port Glasgow RAC No. 900 on 26th January, the chapter made a charitable donation of £200 to the Royal Marines Association (Glasgow Branch). Pictured are the GS, Ian Hopkins (Branch Chairman), and MEZ Stephen Darrah.

The Inter-Provincial Trophy was won by . . . . . Renfrewshire. The winning team was Duncan McConnachie, Douglas Warnock, Colin Reddy and Sandy Reddy so a hearty congratulations to the companions. Kevin also participated in the Grand Superintendent Trophy which was very enjoyable but unsuccessful. However, a very enjoyable day of companionship.
The Strathearn Trophy was won by Greenock RAC No.17. The tournament was opened by Sandy Reddy’s first bowl (centre). The winning team consisted of Robert Harren, Douglas Warnock, Colin Reddy and Sandy Reddy (right). Congratulations to everyone who participated and supported the event. The Grosvenor Bowling Club were very welcoming and a good day was had by all.

MEC Kevin Pollock GS visited Greenock RAC No.17 where EC Sandy Ready PZ Secretary received a packet watch in recognition of a long and distinguished service to the chapter, the Province and the Order. Thoroughly well deserved.

MEC Kevin Pollock GS, accompanied by PGSN John Malcolm, attended Port Glasgow RAC No 900 at the end of the month. They were delighted to see MEZ Stephen Darrah present charitable donations to Mrs Alison Bunce of Compassionate Inverclyde and Mrs Laura Queen of Ardgowan Hospice. A magnificent effort by all concerned and very much appreciated by the recipients.
