PGLRE Football
The Provincial Grand Lodge of Renfrewshire East have established a very successful walking football group.
This group was originally to support the Grand Lodge Mental Health Initiative. The group have now decided to extend their awareness aims to also address Prostate Health and awareness. As part of the Renfrewshire Joint Provincial awareness initiative a tournament has been organised to promote Prostate awareness alongside mental health awareness.
The venue has also agreed to have prostate literature permanently on display.
Men participating in walking football are our target risk group in terms of age so the literature going to the correct audience. An open invitation is extended to lodges/chapters, provinces or indeed individuals (we will find you a team)
If a lodge/province/chapter can’t field a full team (7 or 8 so why not join with another. No boundaries within the Renfrewshire Initiative.

Wonderful evening of companionship at tonight’s June Convocation of the PGRAC of Renfrewshire at Barrhead. Tremendous turnout with deputations from Supreme, Sister Provinces and Other Orders. Reinforcing the ‘One Masonic Family’ approach.
The GS Kevin gave a talk about the characters of the RA which was very informative and enjoyed by all the companions. The PGC agreed to make donations to Erskine Homes, Prostate Scotland and Fisher House (Stanford Hall Military Rehab Centre).
Thank you to everyone who attended.

Congratulations to Sir William Wallace RAC No.109 on winning the Strathearn Trophy played today - 25th May, 20205 - at Spateston Bowling Club.
