Reflecting on our learning and experiences is a powerful tool - it encourages insight and more complex learning. Consider John Dewey’s famous quote:
“We don’t learn from experience. We learn from reflecting on experience”
When you register for PDU credits, you will be added to a Google Discussion Group. Upon completion of each module task, you will be asked to reflect on the task and what was learned by posting a reflection to the Discussion Group. When you select "New Topic", you will be able to type a subject or title for your post. Then, you can type or copy/paste your reflection into the body of the window. Any photos or other artifacts can be attached using "attach a file". When you select "Post", your reflection will be public to all website visitors, but only other PD participants can add comments. We encourage you to read and comment on the reflections posted by others regarding the modules that they have participated in as well. You may find the article, Tips for Writing Thoughtful Discussion Responses from Rasmussen College, helpful when responding to others' reflection posts.

What should you write about? A reflection should be about what you as a learner gained from the experience and how it will affect your students:
