Track & Field is pure athletic competition. What I love about it and want to instill is that 90% of the time the competition is YOURSELF, your previous best effort. Self motivation and drive is what compels an athlete to compete and constantly want to improve. In this sport hundredths of a second, quarters of an inch COUNT! Every foot step and arm movement matter.
