Upward Bound School Year Program

TRiO's Upward Bound provides fundamental support to participants in their preparation for college entrance. The program offers participants opportunities to excel in their pre-college performance and ultimately in their higher education pursuits. Upward Bound serves high school students from families whose taxable income does not exceed federal TRiO guidelines and from which neither parent/step-parent or guardian has completed a four-year college degree. The goal of Upward Bound is to increase the rate at which participants complete secondary education and enroll in and graduate from institutions of postsecondary education.

There are, on average, 2-4 CHS openings for our grades 9 - 10 students as each senior class graduates.
