As part of the Scouting Community, we live by the ideals of Kind, Helpful, and "Do a Good Turn Daily." Pack 693 will be collecting Soap, Shampoo, and Conditioner (see www.metrocrestservices.org for a complete list of needed supplies). These supplies will be taken to Metrocrest Services to provide Relief Baskets for families displaced by Hurricane Harvey who will be staying in the Carrollton area in temporary housing. Please bring the donated items to our Pack Meeting. These items will be delivered to Metrocrest the following day. Let's show our friend at Metrocrest Services and our Houston Neighbors the Pack 693 Scouting Spirit! Contact Susan Rogers if you have any questions.Please make sure to attend because our first pack meeting will also serve as an orientation for our parents. We will cover important information about Den Meetings, Pack Meetings, upcoming events, and the Pack 693 Handbook. This will help to make our Scouting Year successful! We will also introduce our leaders and identify need for additional leaders and fill those positions. While parents are meeting, we will have fun activities for our Scouts.
Returning Scouts, please wear your Field Uniforms. For new Scouts who just joined us, we understand that it takes time to acquire uniforms. We simply ask that you have your uniforms acquired by the November pack meeting. We will have our uniform closet at our September and October Pack Meetings for those who may wish to take advantage of it.
