2026 TROOP CAMPOUT PLANNER

Please note all information shown is subject to change, please check email  for updates prior to all events.  Costs shown are estimates only, final costs will be determined after the campout.  Sign up is required one week prior to campouts unless noted otherwise so that meal planning can be done at the meeting prior to the campout.

January - Sign Up Here

For January, we are not going to do a campout but will do a scout outing for any scout and family members that are interested.  

• Where: Cable Dahmer Arena- Independence, MO

• Activity: Scout Night at KC Mavericks Hockey Game 

• Pre Game Activities:  Pre game shot on goal from 3:30-4:30. Scout participation on games during timeouts (Wear your uniform!) -Pregame player meet and greet and autograph opportunity. Scout Patch available for pickup in section 109

• Game Starts at 6:05

• Cost: $25 - $35 Per ticket and includes all activities listed above

• Campsite: Platte Falls Conservation Area

• Activity: Snow Tubing, Snow Creek, time TBD pm on Saturday 2/21/2026 (weather permitting)

• Depart:  9am Saturday, February 21st

• Return:  11:00am Sunday February 22nd

• Cost:  $5 per meal plus leadership and campsite fee.  Additional $46 for tubing.

• Notes: We are hoping to tube from 1:00pm - 3:00pm Saturday.  Will confirm

• Campsite: Lake Jacomo, Blue Springs, MO

• Activity: RoKC Rock Climbing NKC

• Depart:  9am Saturday, March 21st

• Return:  11pm Sunday, March 22nd

• Cost:  $5 per meal, plus leadership and campsite fee. RoKC cost is $34 per person.

• Notes: Waiver forms will need to be completed for RoKC. We will go straight to rock climbing and climb for 2 hours before heading to Blue Springs campsite.

• Campsite:  Heartland Presbyterian Center, 16965 MO-45, Parkville, MO 64152 

• Activity: Camping & Laser Tag

• Depart: 9am Saturday, April 18th

• Return:  11am Sunday, April 19th

• Cost:  $25 activity fee, $5 per meal

• Notes:  This will be a combined campout with our Pack.

• Acivity: Orienteering & Trail cooking

• Campsite: Bartle 2026, Camp Sawmill, Campsite Oak

• Activity: Summer Camp Session #4

• Depart:  8am Monday, July 6th

• Return:  12pm Wednesday, July 15th

• Campsite: Camp Lake of the Woods (Swope Park), Kansas City, MO

• Activity: Go Ape Zipline

• Depart:  10:00 am Saturday, August 15th

• Return:  10:00am Sunday, August 16th

• Cost:  $5 per meal plus leadership and campsite fee.  Activity fee $50/person (zipline and equipment)

• Notes: We will do the Go Ape course/zipline at 1:00pm on Saturday.  It is about a 2-3 hour course

• Depart: Saturday September 12th 8:00am

• Return: Sunday September 13th 12:00pm 

• Campsite: Jacobs Cave

• Activity: Cave tour & exploration

• Cost: $25 per person plus $5 per meal and leadership fee

• Notes: Must bring a helmet and light for cave expoloration.  Bike helmets work great.

• Return: Sunday October 25th 12:00pm

• Activity: MIZZOU merit badge College

• Cost: $27 per Scout, $5 per meal plus leadership fee

• Notes: Scout cost (all registrations include instruction, lunch, facilities, & a patch) - Over 60 Merit Badges offered

• Check-In at Jesse Hall: 7:30am-8:30am

• Opening Ceremony at Jesse Hall Auditorium: 8:30am-9am

• Classes Begin: 9:30am - 12:30pm

• Lunch: 12:30pm-1:30pm (Traditions Plaza) *Rain location TBD

• Classes Resume: 1:30pm-4:30pm

• Dismissal: 4:30pm
