Enrolling in a 4-year university/college for fall 2026.
Must work 240 hours from 1/1/27 to 9/1/27.
Parents 2025 adjusted gross income must not have exceeded $125k
Award Amount: $1,000 to purchase supplies and up to $7,500 each semester.
Deadline: December 1, 2025

Open to Massachusetts high school seniors for interdisciplinary environmental studies at the college of their choice.
Award Amount: up to $26,000

Thoreau Scholarship 26-27.pdfMassachusetts JCI Senate Scholarship
Eligibility: graduating senior with US citizenship and a GPA of at least 3.75.
Award Amount: two (2) $1,000 scholarships to students planning to attend a four-year college or universtiy and at least one $500 scholarship to a student planning to attend a vocational college.
Due Date: hard copies post marked no later than January 12, 2027

Big Y Scholarship
Eligibility:
High school Seniors, Undergraduates, Graduate, Community College, Non-traditional students
Big Y Customers and their Dependents and Big Y Employees and their Dependents
A student’s permanent residence, or school, must be located in MA or CT (employees are eligible regardless of residence).
Award Amount: Big Y has awarded over $6.4 million dollars to over 8,600 recipients through the scholarship program.
