Residents 

Curricula

Our residents spend 6 weeks of curricular time on Ultrasound Rotation with us. During this time, there is a minimum of 100 hours of bedside instruction with our Ultrasound Faculty. Residents must complete a minimum of 500 scans by the end of their residency. In addition to the 6 weeks of core ultrasound time, residents have the option to do ultrasound electives or the ultrasound track which includes a research project, national presentation and teaching.

Weekly rotations consist of fellow and faculty led scan shifts, image, review, and weekly didactics

We follow the ACEP Guidelines to ensure our residents are getting the latest evidenced based ultrasound practice

Many of our residents participate in national conferences and several go on to ultrasound fellowships
