Social Studies Period Three

This year we will continue to follow the New York State 7th Grade Curriculum curriculum. We will learn about the history of the United States and New York.

During this First Marking Period we will learn about:

• Hispanic Heritage Month

• The Industrial Revolution

• Factories in the 1800s

• The first railroads in the United States

• The Civil War

Students will receive homework Monday through Thursday in two out of four of their academic subjects.

Please see the Homework tab for current homework assignments. They have their homework written in their Agendas and they have their assignments in their Homework Folders. Students and parents can check the Homework tab on my class page if they forget when an assignment is due.
