Human rights are rights inherent to all human beings, regardless of race, sex, nationality, ethnicity, language, religion, or any other status. In addition to human rights, people also bear responsibility. Every person has a responsibility to protect our planet and to behave with integrity, honesty and fairness.

Rule of law is a principle under which all persons, institutions, and entities are accountable to laws that are:

• Publicly promulgated

• Equally enforced

• Independently adjudicated

• And consistent with international human rights principles.
