Using one of our rental partners or making informed purchases will greatly increase your child's enjoyment and success
Even though just learning students need quality working equipment -students are already learning so much - they shouldn't have to also learn to work around issues created by poor equipment.
There are many "deals" too good to be true found on online only websites or big box stores
Be cautious, ask questions and consult your music director, especially if choosing to purchase and not rent.
You are looking for equipment that will last and if needed able to under go regular routine maintenance. (Some of the "too good deals" repair shops will not repair, because they are so cheaply made as to be unrepairable!)
Equipment should also be of a "natural" color (no red, yellow, purple instruments etc).
If you are not sure about anything - PLEASE ask! We are happy to help!
Think about your instrument as a car and your student as a young driver!
They need something solid, safe and reliable (and repairable) to be successful - and just like a car routine maintenance is needed to keep your instrument in working order.
A definite advantage to the rental plans for those starting out is that many include maintenance plan packages as well!
