In 5th grade general music students continue to hone their musical ability in an effort to prepare them for middle school choir and band. They practice singing in unison and harmony, playing various pitched and non-pitched percussion instruments, reading music on the staff, learning about different composers and genres of music and exploring many cultures through their musical influence.
