The 8-01 class is my homeroom and they are with me for several subjects. Together we will explore Language Arts, Science, Social Studies and French. For every topic of study students will have a Hapara Workspace with resources and assignments. Students can access the Workspace anytime anywhere. Below you will find the different curriculum areas along with online resources students can explore at home (though most of these can also be found in our Workspaces). For every topic I have also put an estimated time frame but these are evidently not set in stone.

French will mainly be taught through Social Studies. We will focus on listening, speaking and interaction strategies. We will also spend a lot of time on a variety of reading and writing strategies to help us understand and write without the use translation software (*ahem Google translate).
