Kinematics

During the mid 1600's Isaac Newton revolutionized the way we understood the motion of the planets with the idea that all objects move according to natural laws. Before we look at these laws specifically, its important to first understand and describe motion the motion of objects using words and mathematics. Kinematics is the study of motion. In this unit we will examine objects moving with uniform velocity and uniform acceleration. We will describe this motion graphically and using equations and solve problems with objects experiencing these kinds of motion.
