Reading - Vocabulary building. A variety of word games to play online, including hangman, word search, scrambled words, for a variety of themes. Authentic French - based in France - but with English translations of instructions (which kids find amusing to read because of the word choices made sometimes!) Also includes quiz-type illustrated words activity.

Listening, Reading, Writing. This is the Learning French section of a huge site called About.com. There are good explanations of vocabulary, grammar, and culture, as well as suggestions for learning and practice, all in English. Some good games and activities. Audio and video files included. A bit messy because of all of the page-embedded advertisements, but that happens sometimes with free sites.
