Procedure

For your procedure you will first be developing a design based on the overall dimensions and pictures given. You will create a set of drawings, a materials lists, as well as a procedures list outlining the steps you will be taking from the start to the finish of your board game.

Now that you have been working with the process of design and build all semester, you should be able to complete a detailed procedures list. Think about the steps you will be taking as you are designing the game in Inventor. Realize, as you are building and assembling each part on the computer, that will be a similar, if not the same, process as doing it in the shop. Include the steps that you will be taking to create each piece, and the order you will be using to assemble these pieces. Be sure to take notes or fill out your procedures list during the design period.

We will be introducing to you a Spline joint. This will be used on all sides of the game. The purpose of this joint will be to secure the outer edge of the game leaving a cleaner look to the finish.

* Remember, when you enter the shop, you must have plans and a procedure list with you in order to complete the project.*
