Walls

Walls consist mostly of studs, sole plate, top plate and double top plate. As you see from the picture below, framing walls can become very complex in house building but for sheds, we stick with the simple stuff.

Walls are secured in the corners using a combination of two methods, the California corner and the double top plate lapping over. The following drawings should help you understand how each work.
