BOARDMAKER 7 (latest version is 7.2.5)
Boardmaker 7 consists of 3 components: Boardmaker 7 Editor; myBoardmaker; and Boardmaker Student Center.
Install Boardmaker 7 Editor on your computer to create activities; edit any new or old Boardmaker files; and access and edit ready made templates/activities.
Log into your myBoardmaker account to find your online files; access community groups and curriculum material; and manage activities.
Put in a call ticket with CSC to get the school's password to access a Boardmaker account or if you have technical difficulties using Boardmaker 7. Make sure that you are using the most up-to-date version of Boardmaker 7 Editor-Version 7.2.5. Go to the Boardmaker downloads page if you need to update.

How Layouts are organized
We use the Fitzgerald Key to determine the background colour of symbols. Within a communication board the verbs, descriptors and nouns are often organized alphabetically to support early literacy development.
TIPS FOR COLOUR CODING
Use lighter colour shades
For nouns, you may want to colour the border of the image rather than the background. If you do this, thicken the border.
