The Nashua School District has developed sixteen Career Pathway Plans of Study to assist and inspire students as they progress through their high school career. Each Pathway serves as a template or road map of what curriculum the District offers as well as a suggested progression and examples of Careers for the selected cluster. Pathways are intended to be a framework for students, but students are always encouraged to make course selections based on their individual strengths, values, and interests. Attached below are Nashua's Career Pathway Plans of Study for sixteen Career Clusters. As well as a description of Pathways from the NH Department of Education website. Simply select one or more of the Pathways below for a useful "at-a-glance" resource to help you link your academic interests with your future career!
What Is A Career Pathway?
A Career Pathway is a plan designed by you to make sure that what you learn each day in school is useful in your life. Your pathway will help you put things in focus, giving you a better idea of what's out there in the world, what you want to do and what you need to be successful.
Are You Sure It's For Me?
Absolutely! No matter what, some day you will need to get a job. You may go to college first. You may get advanced education in other ways. But eventually you will enter the workforce. The bottom line is that the good jobs of the future will go to people with skills.
