3/4 Religion: Both classes are using the Sadlier We Believe Grade 3 textbook this year. We are also learning about other Catholic traditions such as the Rosary and memorizing monthly prayers. We attend Mass in the Cathedral 1-2 times per month and visit the school chapel often for prayer.

Math: 3 grade and 4th grade both use the My Math series from McGraw-Hill for their respected grade level. We have been doing some things together and others separate.

Remember to practice those basic facts for our Math Passports (timed tests)!

English: 3rd and 4th grade use the Voyages series for their grade level. This is published by Loyola Press. We use our textbooks for many things, but also incorporate writing to our curriculum.

Vocabulary/Spelling: 3rd and 4th both use the Sadlier Vocabulary Workshop book for their respected grade. We do work through the textbook but also use www.spellingcity.com for many assignments/review/tests.

Reading: 3rd and 4th grade both use the Wonders series from McGraw-Hill for their respected grade. We also will be reading novels as a class soon!

January 11: We just started the novel Frindle by Andrew Clements in both classes. We are looking forward to this novel!

Social Studies: Both classes use the Pearson myWorld Social Studies Grade 3 textbook.

Science: Both classes use the Pearson Interactive Science Grade 3 textbook this year.
