To date we have studied adding, subtracting, multiplying, and division of fractions. (See the study check sample problems below). Currently we completing problems involving mixed numbers. Up next we will be combining all operations while applying the order of operations.
November 8
During the past few classes we have been completing section 3.1. This unit focuses on the multiplication of whole numbers and fractions. To start we have been using both a numberline model and an area model.

We recently started our third unit on integers. In grade 7 students completed an unit where they learned how to add and subtract integers. This skill will be an important part of a further section, so it's essential that students revisit this concept. We have completed some refresher worksheets to refresh their skills. You find a copy of these sheets in the file section below.
