Dress in appropriate PE clothes: shorts/pants, t-shirt, jacket/sweatshirt, socks, and sneakers.

The Intermediate Physical Education curriculum provides opportunities for students to develop personal wellness, personal movement competency, and physical literacy to continue with an active lifestyle. Process skills are emphasized and students develop movement strategies to react to various situations, solve problems, and make decisions.
The curriculum includes a broad range of movement activities that are employed through six movement themes.

DRESS CODE
Students should wear proper footwear and clothing they can easily and safely move in.
Sandals, Crocs, clogs, dress shoes, boots and any heeled shoes are not appropriate for class.
Students should be prepared to go outside during P.E.
Please ensure your child wears weather appropriate clothing each day.
CELL PHONE POLICY: No Cell Phones in the Gym (put them in your locker/PE office)
EXCUSES FROM PARTICIPATION
A student well enough to be in school is generally well enough to participate in P.E. class. Students are encouraged to try to participates as much as possible. If there is any reason why your child cannot participate, please contact me or send a note signed by you along with the student.
Physical Education is a participation course. Attendance and involvement in all activities is the expectation for all students. The goal is for every student to participate and enjoy themselves as much as possible.
