"Strike It Rich for Education" Bowl-a-Thon
The New Kent Educational Foundation holds a Bowl-a-Thon each November. This event is a great time for everyone involved and raises a large amount of money that goes toward the instructional grants and special projects.
This year the foundation will be holding its 15th Annual Bowl-a-Thon at the AMF Hanover Lanes on November 6th.
The Giving Tree, established at New Kent High School in 2008, provides the community with a fantastic way to recognize students, parents, grandparents, New Kent Schools staff members, alumni class members, and many others. Donations of $100 can be made to purchase engraved leaves on the Giving Tree. $500 donations can be made to purchase an engraved stone that will go under the tree.
