Library Policies

Student Library Records

• Log in to Destiny using your school gmail and password to see:

  • My Stuff

    • • Checkouts

      • Holds

      • Favorites

      • Fines

Library Books

• Use your ID card to check out library books.

• Four books may be checked out at one time. 

• Books are due three weeks from the checkout date. 

• Renew library books on or before the due date to keep it for three more weeks.

• Place a book on hold by logging on to Destiny. You will receive an email when it is ready to pick up.

Library Fines

• Students who have excessively overdue books (two weeks past the due date), will be on school restriction. 

• There are no fines for overdue books.

• The fine for lost or damaged books are $30 each book (District Policy) .

• You will not be allowed to check out a book if you have an overdue book or fine.

• Fines transfer from one school to the next within New Haven Unified.
