Meet Your Librarian

Hello Hawks!

I am so happy to be CCMS's Teacher Librarian!  I've always loved middle school (since I've been in middle school at Barnard-White - where I met my husband of 28 years).  I am a huge fan of  young adult fiction. Reading books together with my two daughters is how I've found some amazing titles and authors. Everyone in my family is a musician, except Lollipop our pit bull pup. Flute, percussion, and guitar are just a few instruments I've played. 

I taught 7th grade core for 10 years at Alvarado Middle School before moving to elementary to teach 4th and 5th grade. Then I became the Teacher Librarian at Alvarado Elementary.  And this is by far my favorite subject to teach and place to be. I love the CCMS library!
