WECHS Volunteer Hours

To volunteer is to choose to act in recognition of a need, with an attitude of social responsibility and without concern for monetary profit, going beyond one's basic obligations. (Examples: teacher aid, tutor, hospital volunteer)

Volunteer Requirements at WECHS:

40 volunteer hours are required to complete this year. A minimum of 110 hours for a 4 year graduate and 150 hours for a 5 year graduate) 

Volunteer Hours Requirement for 2023-24 School Year

13th Grade - 150 hours

12th Grade - 110 hours

11th Grade - 90 hours

10th Grade - 70 hours

9th Grade - 40 hours

Please complete this Volunteer Hours Form and return to Ms. Williams - WECHS Office 113.

Volunteer Hours are due Friday,  April 26th

After completing your volunteer form, you can printscreen/screenshot the form and email it to me or come by and return a physical copy. 

Emails from organizations verifying your hours will count as signatures and are emailed with completed volunteer hours form to Ms. Williams - stephanie.williams@nhcs.net.

How Do I Go About Volunteering:

Call or email the organization and set up an appointment to talk to someone.  Ask questions about the program and if there is an orientation that you must attend. Commit to the hours you sign up for. They are depending on you.
